I just love coming home to my warm house.
The first time I returned from a holiday, I sat in my car, in my garage, and said "Hello House". The following morning I pulled the curtains to see snow on the hills-magic.
I've made a lot of new friends with different interests from mine. We don't see much of each other but are there if I want to share with them or need help.
Between us we usually have the tools or the solution.
This is a place for smiles.
We have - the lovely home,
the magnificent views, each different,
friends around us,
supportive management and staff.
It took several visits and discussions to decide if Village life was the right choice for me and not once did I feel pressured. Once the decision was made, things felt good. My house sold quickly, the building time-frame given me was pretty accurate and moving progressed smoothly.
It was meant to be!

Ours was the first villa built at Lansdowne Park, so we have now lived here for over 3 years and enjoyed every minute of our time here.
We love the spectacular views across the valley to the Tararua Mountains. The light and shadows are always changing.
We really enjoy living in a new home, with double glazed windows and excellent insulation. We find the heat pump is all we need to keep us warm on cool days, with the house so designed that the sun comes in all day long.
We love the automatic garage door, so we can come and go so easily, which we do quite frequently!
When we are away it is great to just lock the door and know that the lawns will be cut and the garden looked after.
If you would like to see our unit, we are number 9. |
